i saw a picture of the author yesterday.
chuck... um Palsomething.
for some reason i was thinking balding with glasses.
he was not balding in the picture.
he had a beard.
and no glasses.
but, still.
it's always interesting to see people you know of for the first time.

ugh, i just typed in thegoogle.
the. what a nasty word. is it thuh or thee?
... i think there are too many bands that have "the" first. it's in the way, because they always have that one little word tied to them. you can't talk about them without saying the. but you never capitalize the.
if i was in a band i'd prefer it not to be a the something band. the somethings. notice, it's always plural. because there's generally more than one person in a band. if there isn't, they're not a band. they're a 'artist'.
you can't be the tea mug. but you can be the tea mugs. ha ha, tea mugs...

see. it doesn't work unless you say the tea mugs.
